Troy and his friends always stayed clear of the Korean chick at their college. She was weird; she wore the strangest outfits and just said things that seemed to make no sense. They hadn't even bothered making fun of her, because she would blow up at them. She hung out with the art crowd while Troy and his friends were more of the jock type. Of course, this changed when an accident in one of their science classes switched their bodies. The University promised to sort it out as soon as possible and offered them both a full scholarship if they promised to keep it quiet. Troy couldn't believe he had to spend ANY time in this body. As he searched through her closet, he couldn't find a single piece of normal clothing. It was getting cold and most normal jacket she owned made him look like a plastic canary. He sucked it up and wore it out, prepared to be ignored by his own former friends...

It had been decades since the old factory closed down. No one ever talked about why. The truth was that the company had been working on strange experiments there, but particles leaked. These particles were found to have strange effects on people. It would transform their forms, switch two people’s brains, and other fantastic occurrences. By closing the factory, the owner had thought the problems were contained. But he never counted on kids from the college poking around. Looking for a place to down a few beers before heading to the beach, Tony and his girlfriend, Nancy, slipped into inner wall. They ignored the caution signs, but soon wish they hadn’t. Within an instant, Tony and Nancy fused together with Tony’s mind in control of Nancy’s body. Not knowing what else to do, he made a quick exit.

He certainly didn’t expect to find himself washing up on a beach, and he certainly didn’t expect to be doing it in someone else’s body! He only guessed that God gave him a second chance at life for some reason. But checking out his new body, he knew it would be a very different life from the one he used to have. While before he was a large, burly man; he was now a petite and beautful woman! He had always gotten by on his brawn before, but it looks like he’d have to use his new assets to make a living now...

The Great Shift turned out pretty bad for Kevin Bartles. He had been enjoying champagne in his Madison Avenue apartment when it hit, and he suddenly found himself in the body of a woman who lived in an impoverished slum in a third world country. His slight buzz was replaced hunger pains. With no access to media and with no ability to speak the local language, his only way to know that he wasn’t the only one in a strange body was the general confusion and chaos of the other people around him. It was two months before the American embassy reopened and another one before they were able to determine Kevin was actually who he said he was. He had learned in those twelve weeks how the other half actually lived; the struggles they went through. He found himself dedicating his time, wealth, and entire life to improving the situations of the misfortunate.

Eugene was pleased after the surgery to find himself in a young body once again. He entered a room and prepped, knowing very well he was about to get a visitor. Sure enough, Margaret was soon stumbling though the halls.

“Is there anything I can help you with?” Eugene asked.

“I’m...I’m not sure,” Margaret replied, “The last thing I remember is working with my mentor, Eugene Warner. Then everything went black and now...I’m...I’m old.”

“Perhaps if you take a seat, I can scan your brain with this neurotron above me. It should help me identify anything troubling you. It’s certainly based on Dr. Warner’s pioneering work, but no one has heard from this at this facility in twenty years. My name is April, by the way, Dr. April Chu,” Eugene smiled, knowing it was now April’s brain stuck in a jar for the next twenty years...

Twenty Years

It had been twenty long years, but Dr. Eugene Warner was finally ready to give Margaret her body back. He had kept her brain alive so carefully in this jar that whole time. He had always intended to return this body to her, but it had taken him such a long time to find a new donor for him to transplant his own brain into. That time had finally arrived. Shortly after midnight tonight, Eugene would have his mind placed inside yet another new body. And then Margaret’s brain could return to her body as well. She’d probably be in for quite a shock, as she’d find herself twenty years older in what felt like to her as a matter of seconds. In the jar, her brain was sort of in a coma -- unaware of the passage of time and oblivious to any experiences. It would be certainly interesting to study her once he was in his new body!

Insensitive

Mark realized he should’ve known better before opening his big fat mouth about the bust size of Asian women. He had intended the comment to sound factual, but instead he just sounded like a jerk. And of course his genius wife Anna -- who was of Chinese descent -- didn’t take the comment well either and decided to test a new invention on him. The device transformed Mark into a petite Asian woman with a chest that grew about a cup size every hour. By the time he reached D cup, Anna had forgiven him, but her device didn’t seem to function in reverse. She went down to the basement to work on it further.

Meanwhile, Mark’s ever expanding top proved difficult to deal with. He quickly outgrew anything in his wife’s closet and only luckily found a top a friend had left behind a while back that fit.

After a few hours, he called down to the basement from atop the stairs, hoping for some good news. Anna just snapped back to be patient, and that this was all his fault for being so insensitive.

Mark just stood their awkwardly. He couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable he was going to be if Anna didn’t find a way to reverse this until tomorrow or the next day -- or maybe even longer...

Making Up for Lost Time

In the moments after the Great Shift, Kevin wondered if he was going to forever traumatized by his new body. He had been in his dorm room studying for an exam when he suddenly found himself shopping at a grocery store instead. Looking at the hands pushing a cart, he wasn’t just horrified because of the manicured nails or small, feminine size; it was also because they were clearly older than his own. He rushed to a bathroom to have his fears confirmed. He was a woman now who appeared to be around 40. In an instant, he had around 20 years of his life. It was scary; he began to cry.

A few months later, any fear of potential trauma had disappeared from Kevin’s mind. He had finished up his degree and begun a career. He had gotten used to being a woman, and he had to admit to himself that he was fairly attractive. But he knew that due to his body’s age, he’d have to work to keep it that way; it’d be pretty easy to let himself go. But working out every day just made him feel better about himself and his situation. Sure, he was older now, but did he really lose 20 years of life? He was sure the way he was motivated to take care of this new body could add that much time to his life plus some.

Rocky's friends had been concerned about him shortly after the Great Shift. He had been going to the gym with his new body for several hours each day. They wondered if he was hitting it just a little too hard. Truth be told, he went to the gym because he loved it. Before the Shift, he was so fat, he would be embarrassed to even show up at a gym, which just made the problem worse. Now, he was hot and skinny...sure, he was also a woman, but that just added to the thrill. He never wore a sports bra because he loved the feel of his bouncing breasts, and he loved the way people at the gym would check him out. He loved being a woman, and he loved being skinny!

What If It Wasn't an Accident?

An accident with the Medallion of Zulu had caused Josh to switch bodies with his sister, April, on the morning of her wedding. Seeing as how they wouldn’t be able to switch back for 12 hours, April pleaded with her brother to pretend to be her for the ceremony. Josh reluctantly agreed as he went through all the hair and makeup routines and found himself dressed in a beautiful white gown.

With minutes left to go before the ceremony, a bridesmaid casually asked him, “So you didn’t get cold feet after all?”

Suddenly Josh froze. What if the accident with the medallion hadn’t been an accident? What if this was his sister’s way of getting out of this whole thing? What if he was going to be stuck like this? Stuck in her body in her life with her husband? It wasn’t too late to run, was it? He could run off. Sure, he’d still be stuck in his sister’s body, but at least he wouldn’t be tied down to a husband!

Nate gave one last look in the mirror before washing the makeup of his face. He couldn’t imagine he’d look this amazing again for a while. After all, the Great Shift had swapped him in this stunning body earlier that day, but he knew he’d never be able to replicate how she had done her makeup for quite some time. Heck, he didn’t know the first thing about wearing makeup, but it sure did enhance this body’s natural beauty!

Overwhelmed

Bill woke up in a strange house and in a strange body. He was trying his best to process the identity of this woman he now was and how he ended up in her body. He didn’t feel overwhelmed until he went into her walk in closet to get dressed. Looking at the wide array of clothes and shoes felt like just too much. To top it all off, everything seemed excessively feminine. All of the shoes were heels; all of the clothes were dresses or skirts. This wasn’t going to be easy...

Internship

Daniel played the incident at work off like an accident. The body swapper was a prototype that Daniel had developed, but when he used it with his college aged intern Lin, he pretended like he had no idea how he happened. He said he’d work hard to investigate and fix the error, but that they should pretend to be each other in the meantime. He just wanted a little bit of time to explore Lin’s body; to experience being a woman. But as it turned out, Lin had a very busy schedule. She had several roommates, and between classes, her internship, and a part time job, Daniel had absolutely no time to just experience being Lin. That is, until he saw “gym time” on her schedule. He relished changing in the locker room, and he used every opportunity to try and excite himself. But honestly, he still just wanted to be along with this body and do every time imaginable to it...

Appliance

Robert looked down at the new appliance in his kitchen. Martha, his wife, had been setting it up this morning. When she finally plugged it in while he was in the shower, a strange jolt shot through the house, swapping the couple’s bodies. It seemed completely unrealistic that the object in front of him could do such a thing, but he couldn’t argue with what obviously happened. Martha had to go to work in his place while he stayed home in her body. He had the whole day just to stare at this thing and worry about trying to figure out how to use it again to get their bodies back!

French Class

On the night before what should’ve been his last day of high school, Kyle prayed for a way to fix his grade in French. He was failing and needed a miracle to pass and graduate. A miracle is exactly what he got when he awoke the next morning inside the body of his teacher, Miss LaSalle. He immediately opened up her grade book and pushed his scores just a little bit higher. Feeling like this fulfilled his prayer, he expected to immediately swap back, but that didn’t happen. Instead, he ended up going to school in Miss LaSalle’s body. It was weird for him to be sitting in the front of the classroom with forty eyes staring at him. He was glad not much was expected on the last day of school, because failing one year of French wasn’t exactly a great experience for being a French teacher. It also gave him the whole summer to get back to his own body. After all, he was expecting to start college in the fall, and he was pretty sure he couldn’t go like this! Plus, if he was still like this, he might need to actually learn French for real.

I've been a good sport, letting you keep my body a little longer; I've been in your body now for three hours. Can we please change back now?"

Explain

Peter heard a car in the driveway. His wife was home and much earlier than she had told him. He grabbed the laptop and rushed up to their bedroom. The long nails on his hand made it difficult to type in the web address. His heart raced when he saw a 404 not found error before he noticed a mistake caused by his frantic typing. He had to use the forgot password feature as he heard his wife’s footsteps walk up the stairs. She was turning the knob to the door when he finally clicked on the button marked “revert to normal.” Then the computer crashed. He knew he’d have to explain everything. He’d have to explain the website he found that allowed a user to transform their body in any way. Then he’d have to explain why he picked the body he did -- the body of this sexy woman. That is, if she would even let him explain. When she entered the room, he knew she would only see an unexplainable woman in their bed leaning over a laptop. She was probably going to be more than pissed. He was hoping he’d be able to get a word in edgewise.

Wardrobe

Seymour tried to hold his head up high as he finished getting ready for his first day back at work after the Great Shift. He was sure all the guys at the office would be hitting on him. He had just the type of body that they all tried to pick up at happy hours. Heck, it was what he was doing with this woman when the Great Shift happened, and he ended up swapping into her body. He chuckled as he thought about all the things he tried that night after getting home. Of course, the laughter soon faded when he starting thinking about how some of his co-workers probably wanted to do those types of things TO him now. He knew he just needed to put on a strong attitude; no one was going to mess with him no matter what body he was in...

Coming Up with a Plan

Tomorrow would be Jacob’s last full day on Exchange Island. That meant he needed a plan to keep the gorgeous body he had been able to borrow for the past two weeks. He found a spot away from the beach and the crowds to think. What sort of plan could he come up with? Could he hack the resort’s computers to extend his stay? Maybe there was a database of who was who that he could set to stay like this even once he left? What if he just refused to leave; if he hid somewhere when it was time to go? He at least needed to give something a try! He couldn’t give this up so easily!

Ken was competing in an amateur boxing match. If he won, he'd get $1000. In the last round, he really had the guy on the ropes and close to a TKO. He knew he could finish him off in the next round, but all of a sudden, his opponent seemed to be getting bigger. However, he wasn't, Ken was actually getting smaller and slowly transforming into a small asian woman! He was freaking out not knowing how or why this was happening. His opponent smiled...his secret weapon was working, and Ken would either have to forfeit or risk getting his new tiny body destroyed in the next round.

Dr. Emily Chan couldn’t describe her shock on Monday morning when she saw what seemed to be a new scientist in the lab look up from the microscope. The new woman looked up from her work, and Emily let out an audible gasp as a face that looked identical to her own smiled at her.

“Emily, please allow me to explain,” The woman said, “It’s me. It’s Malcolm, Dr. Malcolm O’Donnell. My advanced age was no secret to anyone here, but my aggressive cancer certainly was. After everyone left on Friday, I discovered a breakthrough that could save my life. I found a way to regenerate damaged cells, but I needed a small donor sample in order to act as a catalyst. I searched in all of our samples for a compatible donor. Nothing in our catalog would work. I got desperate and looked around for hairs, nail clippings, skin flake...anything! Eventually I found some and injected myself. I soon discovered that my discovery not only caused damaged cells to regenerate to match the donor -- it rewrote ALL of my cells. By Sunday morning, I had become an exact copy of you on a cellular level. I’m not sure if I can reverse it, but there are no longer any traces of cancer in me and I managed to make myself 40 years younger as well. I should have plenty of time to try to fix this!”

Is It a Choice?

Last year, Steven signed up for an experiment at his college that ended up transferring his brain into another student’s body. He was only supposed to be in her body for a few hours, but when it was time to swap back something went wrong. He was apparently going to be stuck in Angelica’s body until the researchers found a way to fix this. At first, Steven was devastated. He didn’t want to be Angelica; he didn’t want to be a woman. But days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Eventually, he just got used to it. In fact, he was surprised when the researchers showed up at his dorm room a year later explaining they could finally swap the pair back. Steven just laughed and asked if he had to return to his own body. He had gotten so used to being Angelica over the past twelve months that he simply preferred to stay this way now.

Steve sighed. He knew teleportation was a new technology, but he had used it three times for business now and three times something weird had happened. The first time, he had selected a body to swap with at his destination and there was a mixup resulting in him swapping with the wrong person. The next time they couldn’t find his body on the return trip, resulting in a multi-day delay. And now this! He had selected the woman to swap with at his destination due to her professional-looking photo. It turned out she had since dyed her hair, and he felt completely silly.

He did consider flying, of course, but it seemed like such a waste to take an eight hour flight for a day of meetings abroad. Instead, it seemed much more logical to use the teleportation service. Your mind would simply swap with someone at the destination of your choice. It was instant and easy. Then again, he was now going to have to go to important meetings with a body that had blue hair. He had also requested that she wear “professional attire,” which she clearly hadn’t. He knew it wasn’t too hard to go to a store and buy a skirt suit, but he also knew he didn’t have time to go to a salon for a dye job. He sighed again. Other people he had met with encountered situations that were similar with the teleportation service. Everyone seemed to overlook them, but they were growing increasingly frustrating. If the company couldn’t get this sort of thing worked out, he couldn’t imagine they’d succeed in the long run, even given the amazing convenience they brought to the world of travel.

Discount

Daryl didn’t use his bodyswapping ability very often. In fact, he tried to keep it on the down-low for many reasons, but every now and again, he used it...often in anger. After a long, frustrating talk on the phone with the representative from his cable company, he knew now would be one of those times. And sure enough, as he thought about it, he found himself on the other end of the line, in the cable customer service rep’s body. He looked at his account on screen and gave himself $100 credit. Heck, that was pretty small discount considering all the grief they had given him throughout the years.

Stop Bitching

When Herbert Winslow hired an escort to be his date for the evening, he never expected to swap bodies with her. For the past 20 minutes he had been listening to her yell at him in HIS voice asking for her body back, asking why he stole her body, and so on.

Finally he snapped, "Look, I didn't steal your body. I don't know why we swapped bodies. Why would I want to go from being a successful CEO of a fortune 500 company to being a woman who has to resort to being an escort to make money? Stop bitching and let's figure this out."
