Bundled

Alex and Ellen had been dating for three years and had been living together for two of those. And every time fall rolled around, Ellen would bundle up that felt much too earl for Alex. He’d often tease her about being cold, and he also refused to turn the heat up in the apartment when she asked.

And finally she had enough. She loved Alex, so she wasn’t going to leave him; she just wished he understood. Searching the internet, she found a body swap spell that claimed to do just what she hoped. She was skeptical, but she decided to try it out.

“Okay, okay, I get it,” Alex complained after spending a week in Ellen’s body, “Can you please reverse the spell now and swap us back into our own bodies?”

Ellen avoided eye contact, “Well, I can’t. The spell is on a timer. We’re stuck in each other’s bodies until spring. But if it makes you feel any better,” She looked back at Alex, thinking about how cute it was that he was in her body and all bundled up, “I’ll be kind and turn the heat up for you, unlike some people I know!”

Do You Mind?

“Are you aware how annoying your hair is?” Malcom asked Zoe as he played with a strand of it, “Do you mind if I shave it all of?”

“You’d better not!” She snapped back.

“Maybe it’s time to admit that we’re going to be stuck in each other’s bodies. We’ve come back to this diner where that witch cursed us for three days straight now. She’s not going to show up and uncurse us or something. Face it, I’m going to be in your body forever, and you’re going to be in mine.”

“No, she’ll come back. When she does, we just need to make an apology, and she’ll switch us back. I’ve seen it in the movies!”

“Movies aren’t real.”

“And we didn’t think body switching was real either until three days ago!”

Wish Upon a Star

After his girlfriend cheated on him, Bill made a wish upon a star that she knew how he felt. He certainly never expected the wish to come true, and certainly not in the way it did! Waking up the next morning, she certainly knew how he felt alright because she was him, and he was now her! After examining himself in the mirror, he called his own cell number to hear his own voice answer. Both were relieved to hear their own voice, but Bill never fessed up about making the wish that caused his girlfriend to TRULY know EXACTLY what he felt (literally), nor did they ever find a way to switch back.

Final Gift

Sarah had received the strange device from her grandmother when she died. She couldn't stand to throw it away as she had loved her grandmother dearly and cherished her final gift, even if she couldnt figure out what it did. That is, she couldn't figure out what it did until one Christmas when her and her boyfriend, Max, were getting the decorations out of the attic when they touched the device at the same time. It started to glow, bathing the couple in a dim light. When it faded, Max was shocked to find himself in Sarah's body, and Sarah was equally shocked to be inside of Max's! Considering they'd be off for the next few days because of the holidays, both thought it might be fun to not switch back immediately to experience life as the opposite sex. However, maybe Sarah's grandmother should've some instructions....for instance, explaining that if they didn't use the device again within 24 hours, they'd be stuck in each other's bodies!

Brian could hardly move. His feet were bound together and his hands were tied to a chair. He was able to look down and see that he was certainly in someone else's body -- as breasts weren't exactly a normal thing for him to see when he looked down -- but he wasn't sure exactly who at first. A look around the room revealed his own body typing into a computer in what was probably in one of the university's science labs. He had a pretty good guess who he swapped bodies with based on all the evidence.

"Hyojin?" He asked to see his former body turn around with a smile.

She nodded. Hyojin was his ex-girlfriend. Whereas Brian was seem as a big man on campus; Hyojin was a bit of a nerd. When Brian's friends started asking about their dating, he denied it, made up excuses, and mocked her. When the word got back to Hyojin, she had been furious. She broke up with; he thought that was the end of it.

"You really hurt me, you know?" She asked, "I was absolutely humiliated. Now it's time to settle the score."

"But why swap our bodies? Why tie me up?"

"No one would believe me in my body, but if I run around in your body talking about how I wet the bed or eat your own sh*t or something worse! It'll stick. Then I'll switch back, and you'll be the miserable one for a change."

"But you can't --" Brian didn't have time to say much before Hyojin darted out the door.

Brian struggled for about 20 minutes before one of Hyojin's classmates entered. She had no clue why her friend was tied up in a chair. And Brian figured he had two options: (1) He could convince this woman to untie him. Pretty simple. He could take Hyojin's life after she ruins his. Or (2) he could convince this classmate to sit in the other chair. The controls for the swapping were right by his fingertips. He just needed another body in the other seat. He wouldn't have to deal with his ruined life or Hyojin's. But it's not like he knew anything about this other woman -- though that was almost kind of a plus...

Two Steps

“Holy crap! How do you walk in these things?” Michael screamed as he started to topple over after taking a mere two steps. Luckily, Vivian was there to catch him.

“I’ve had ten or so years of experience,” Vivian replied, “You’ve been wearing heels now for what? Ten minutes or so? And this is your first time standing in them. You’ll just have to get used to it.”

“Can’t we just use the machine to switch back now?”

“And fry both of our brains and become vegetables? No thanks! Our brains need time to settle, otherwise they won’t make it through the process again and we’ll be left braindead.”

“Look, I’m glad the test was successful, and that your machine was actually able to swap bodies. But how long are you saying I’m going to be trapped in your body?”

“If we wait until tomorrow, the chances of our brains making it is fifty-fifty. If we wait a week, there’ll be less than a one percent chance of anything going wrong.”

“So you’re saying I’m stuck in short skirts and heels for a week?”

“I know you don’t like my fashion choices -- ”

“No, I love your fashion choices, just not when I’m the one who has to wear them. I guess I’ll cope, but you got to switch us back the second you think it’s safe, okay?”

“Okay...”

A Few More Hours

Jamie couldn't believe he was doing this. He was putting on his younger sister's shoes about to go to her college classes for the day all because he had ended up in her body thanks to some strange magic medallion. She confessed using the medallion in the past to swap bodies with her boyfriend, and that they wouldn't be able to swap back for a few more hours--Jamie would have to go to class for her and they could swap back after. His sister wasn't telling the total truth--in fact, it wasn't his sister now in his body at all--it was her boyfriend. She had stolen her boyfriend's body long ago, and now he was desperate to get back to a man's body, so he stole Jamie's. When he'd return from class, he'd pretend like he lost the medallion, leaving him in Jamie's body for good, and Jamie would be stuck as his own sister.

Shipwreck

It was in the 90s when Jim made a ton of money off the dotcom bubble. It was easy for him to retire early and sail around the world on his yacht with his beautiful girlfriend. Unfortunately, while in the middle of the ocean, they hit a reef. Jim was sure he could fix it if they were on land; luckily, they spied an uncharted island in the distance. However, as they approached, things got weird. Quite unexpectantly, Jim and his girlfriend ended up swapping bodies. It was more than disorienting for Jim, and it inhibited his ability to repair the boat. His girlfriend’s body wasn’t strong enough to lift a lot of the materials, so he had to bark orders at her as she did the work.

A few days passed before they were able to fix the yacht up well enough to leave the island. After they got a safe enough distance off, they swapped back to their own bodies. Out of curiosity, Jim turned the boat back toward the island. When they got close enough, they swapped again. It seemed crazy, but there was only one possible conclusion, something about the island swapped people’s bodies. Jim thought about what he could do. He could build a one-of-a-kind resort. It might be hard to convince construction workers to build something here, but he was sure he could charge people a lot of money for a vacation where they literally spent time off as someone else. He jotted down the coordinates, eager to return to the place he and his girlfriend had called “Exchange Island.”

“Okay, so, we need a plan,” Victoria breathed, “First, you should probably call in sick to my job tomorrow.”

“And you should call in sick to mine,” Gavin added.

“But you don’t get paid if you don’t show up; we need the money.”

“So, are you saying you think you can do my job, but I can’t do yours?”

“Gavin, come on, you work in a warehouse. All you need to do your job are muscles. And right now your muscles are mine. I’m a lawyer! I had to go to law school for years, pass the bar...”

“My job’s not as easy as you think!”

“Okay, okay...” Victoria sighed, not wanting to get caught up on petty things.

All-Too-Predictable

When Bryan was given the Medallion of Zulu, he had been warned. He had been told that it simply wanted to be lost. Once it transformed someone, it would find a way to disappear. Bryan dismissed the rumors and was merely excited to be in the possession of such a legendary artifact. He doubted that it could even morph someone's body, but one day curiosity got the better of him. He placed it around his neck and touched a piece of his girlfriend's clothing to it. Sure enough, the next thing he knew, he was her exact double. He put on some of her clothes now that his no longer fit, and in an almost all-too-predictable fashion, he couldn't seem to find the medallion after changing. He got down on his hands and knees to search the area, thinking he dropped it, and it couldn't have gone far. He should have listened to the warnings.

Thinking the Same Thing

Fiona looked at the couch where her boyfriend and four of his friends sat. She hadn’t intended to do this to them. He had invited them over, and they were just acting like guys do. Being messy, rude, and belching. She was getting frustrated and just wished they understood her better. That’s when they all began to transform -- into copies of her! Their old male clothes were practically falling off, so she let them borrow some of hers. She used some of her brightest colored tights -- hoping it would be a way to easily help distinguish who was who, but she quickly lost track anyway. Then she sat them down on the couch. She didn’t know quite what to say. Then she noticed none of them did either. They weren’t belching or being messy. And as the minutes passed, they began to hold themselves in more ladylike ways; they crossed their legs and sat up straight. Silence lingered, and Fiona suddenly felt a tingle of fear. She looked at the five former men on the couch. They were all looking and acting like her now. She was hoping for one of their rude male gestured, to confirm who they really were. What if they all thought they were the real Fiona now? And if she thought that as well, how did she even know who she really was? What if she had been a former guy too just now with all those thoughts replaced? She couldn’t help think as she stared into all their eyes that everyone was thinking the same thing.

Plan (Part 1)

Victoria gasped when he realized what happened; Gavin screamed. The young couple couldn’t believe that they had swapped bodies with each other. They had been dating for a few months, and had only very recently moved in together. It had felt like a pretty big step, and it had brought them both closer to each other. But feeling close was one thing; swapping bodies was on a whole other level.

“But I -- what -- how?” Gavin was struggling to come up with words to express just how shocked he was.

“I dont know. I don’t know.” Victoria repeated, “But we need a plan. No one is going to believe us if we just start telling people that we switched bodies.”

“Okay, okay,” Gavin breathed, “Plan. Yes.”

Trashed

Twelve hours ago, Darren had swapped bodies with hisgirlfriend using the Medallion of Zulu. Enjoying his new body immediately, he tossed the medallion away, thinking that he’d never want to swap back, but after time had passed and he had experienced womanhood, he found himself digging through the trash for the magic trinket, hoping to use it to swap back to his own body. The swap was a dream at first, but incidents that happened while swapped -- including getting his girlfriend’s period -- made Darren long to be back in his own body again.

KFC

Jerry's girlfriend had been a pain in his ass since the Great Shift put him in her body. Today was the first day that he was able to walk outside without getting all dolled up and wearing dresses. He was thankfully able to wear pants! He also was able to sneak to KFC for some fast food, something he loved, but his girlfriend wouldn't let him touch with concerns over her figure.

Taco Bell

"God, Chloe, leave me alone already. We've swapped bodies; deal with it." Tom sighed as he girlfriend had given him a hard time about eating fast food ever since they switched bodies, "If I want to eat at Taco Bell, I'm going to eat at Taco Bell! Your body looks fine. In fact, you could actually stand to gain a few pounds. I feel like a twig in your body. And, yes, I know you were vegetarian, but I'm not! I don't tell you how to live your life in my body. Plus, it seem looks like they aren't going to find a cure to reverse the whole Great Shift thing. Just deal with it."

Snacking

“Michael!” Jane screamed at her boyfriend, “What are you doing?”

Michael couldn’t even imagine what he was doing wrong. Though it seemed that every since the Great Shift swapped him into Jane’s body, just about anything he did was wrong. He shrugged in response; he was at a loss.

“Chips will go straight to my thighs! Or your thighs! Stop eating those this instance of you won’t be able to fit into any of my clothes!”

Michael often snacked without thinking about it. It was true that he had gone into the kitchen to grab a bag to snack on. He made a mental note to add snacking onto the long list of things he should no longer do. Being in Jane’s body really wasn’t any fun at all.

Dip

Both Harry and John thought it was pretty cool when their girlfriends asked if they wanted to go skinny dipping. They didn’t question anything as the women lead them deep into the forest before stopping at a sparkling pond. After stripping down, no sooner had they put their toes in the water than the pool’s magical effects took place and soon Harry and John had swapped into their respective girlfriends’ bodies. As the two men freaked out getting dressed in their girlfriends’ clothing, the two women now in the bodies of Harry and John ran off. Two hours passed.

“Are you getting any signal?” John asked.

“Nope,” Harry replied, “I don’t think they are coming back.”

“Why would they want to steal our bodies?”

“I’m not sure, but we might have to face the fact that I am now June and you are now Marcy.”

John put his phone into Marcy’s purse. He pulled out her wallet and his eyes went wide, “Her name’s not Marcy. It’s Christina. Do you think they’ve been scamming us in some way this whole time. Oh, God!”

Caution

It had been decades since the old factory closed down. No one ever talked about why. The truth was that the company had been working on strange experiments there, but particles leaked. These particles were found to have strange effects on people. It would transform their forms, switch two people’s brains, and other fantastic occurrences. By closing the factory, the owner had thought the problems were contained. But he never counted on kids from the college poking around. Looking for a place to down a few beers before heading to the beach, Tony and his girlfriend, Nancy, slipped into the inner wall. They ignored the caution signs, but soon wish they hadn’t. Within an instant, Tony and Nancy fused together with Tony’s mind in control of Nancy’s body. Not knowing what else to do, he made a quick exit.

Dog Day Afternoon

Henry was always tinkering around with something in the garage, and his latest invention of a body swapper was quite impressive. His girlfriend Angelica begged to be allowed to use it. She wanted to experience being in the body of an animal for a while and suggested swapping with Henry’s dog, Rex. It took a few days to talk Henry into the idea, but he ultimately just couldn’t say no to Angelica.

As soon as she got into Rex’s body, Angelica wanted to run around the neighborhood, to feel what it would be like to be wild and free. Rex, on the other hand, just continued to do weird dog stuff despite his now human body. When he saw his girlfriend’s body licking just about everything, he got concerned. He knew this would probably make her sick and decided it might be best for him to swap himself into Angelica’s body and Rex into his own body. If anyone was going to get sick, it was going to be Henry’s body.

So sure enough, he did just that. Henry then waited, feeling the uncomfortable weight of breasts on his chest and heels on his feet. He did his best to keep Rex from doing anything too bad with his body, but he really hoped Angelica got home soon...

On a brisk winter day, Miles and his girlfriend Gemma had gone for a walk in the freshly fallen snow. Deep in the woods, they encountered a strange glowing item that swapped their bodies. It then became dull and touching it again did not swap them back. After waiting a while, they determined it was best to head back home and come back to try later.

As Miles began to pick up the pace a little, he felt Gemma fall behind before realizing she had stopped completely. He turned around and asked, "What's wrong?" "Why did you lie to me?" She replied.

Miles was confused and wondering what he was being accused of. "What are you talking about?"

"When I put those snowpants on this morning, I asked if they made my butt look big, and you said no!"

Miles paused a moment, “Technically, I didn't. I said they make your ass look good, which is totally true! I certainly appreciate a nice plump behind! And I always love the way yours looks -- even from this new perspective, by the way! And since you're in my body and probably my hormones, surely you have some sort of appreciation for what you see as you walk behind me."

Instead of answering, Gemma just blushed, a little afraid to admit that her boyfriend was completely right!
