Henry had always lived a boring life. He worked in an office where he was never noticed. In fact, he was so invisible that he was sure he’d still get paid even if he never showed up. He never had a girlfriend; he never really wanted one. Secretly, he wished he WAS a woman.

A strange visitor in Henry’s office one day made an even stranger offer. He could grant Henry’s wish; he would turn Henry into a woman. Sure, Henry had suspicions this man was some sort of devil in disguise, but what did he really have to lose? He quickly agreed.

In an instant, Henry was transformed.

“I expected some sort of catch,” Henry stated flatly.

“What do you mean?” The man asked.

“Well, in these stories, there is always some sort of catch -- like turning into a bimbo or something.”

“Ah-ha! But you see! There’s the catch! You are a woman, but you are simply a plain woman! You won’t catch the eye of any man, you’ll be a wallflower at every party. It won’t be nearly as much fun as you might have hoped!”

“It sounds like my life now...except I get to be a woman. Honestly, just being a woman is enough for me. It’s all I really wanted or needed. So...thanks?”

Mannerisms

David was freaking out. It had only been a few hours since he swapped bodies with his girlfriend, and he was already picking up her feminine mannerisms. His stance, the way he put his hands on his hips...it was all so girly! He knew that this body-swapping experiment would last for the next week, so he was worried how much he would lose himself in that time. Plus, would he be able to regain he male mannerism just as quickly once they swapped back? He certainly hoped so!

Of course, when Brendan started to feel the effects, he didn’t feel so “rewarded.” His body changed. His former reproductive organs turned inside out to form a womb between his legs. The fertility goddess gave him what she thought what the most precious gift--the ability to be fertile.

It had been hundreds of years since Prince Johan was cursed and turned into a frog, waiting for a woman of pure virtue to kiss him. Meanwhile, right across the pond, a young woman who had just been dumped for cheating on her boyfriend was sitting swigging some stashed vodka. A drunkwn thought entered her mind to kiss frogs, and maybe she'd find a prince. After kissing a few slimey lips, she picked up Johan. He was excited about the possibility of his curse finally being lifted but was shocked when he found that he had simply swapped bodies with the woman. She just wasn't virtous enough to break the curse completely. Now he was stuck in her very slutty body still seeking a woman of virtue to kiss. On top of every thing, he maintained many of his frog-like traits. It would be difficult to get anyone to kiss a woman who squatted like a frog and, from time to time, caught a fly in her mouth to eat.

An spell found inside an old library book swapped the bodies of nerdy computer geek Walter and ditsy blond bimbo Tammi. Walter certainly couldn’t complain at first. He had never felt so beautiful or popular, but then he found out that Tammi was skipping all his classes. Even if she did attend, there would be no way for her to keep up with his advanced studies! If he didn’t get back to his own body soon, he would fail. He returned to the library. The spell had to be in one of these books. Now it was just a matter of finding it before his first midterm at 3PM.

Getting things back to normal after the Great Shift was not going to be easy. With everyone swapped into new bodies, it opened up plenty of doors for fraud. Within a few days, the government had set up offices for people to claim what was rightfully theirs. These offices were often packed, and the required forms people had to fill out were long. Doug scanned the papers squeezed on a couch between four other men who had also switched bodies with women. Some were fretting the various parts of the form that verified identity. Who knew their driver’s license number off the top of their heads!? Others zipped through pretty confidently. Regardless, the situation was still a complete bureaucratic mess.

The Good Life

Tyrone and Alexia were living the life. The pair had found a weird bodyswapping ray that allowed them to take over the lives of a rich couple. No more minimum wage jobs and struggling to survive; now they had it all. A boat, a mansion, and more money than they knew what to do with. Tyrone had just wished that when Alexia was using the ray gun that she would've swapped his body with the husband instead of the wife, but he was adapting to the role quite well with dresses and expensive gifts.

Rufus felt like such a fool. He had been taken in by that cult so easily. When they said they would baptize him so that he could be "born again" he never expected that it would be into a new body! Now with no identity of his own, he was a slave to the cult. Meanwhile, without Rufus's knowledge, they had given one of loyal, young cult members HIS life...in fact, the woman and Rufus had switched places. She sold all his thing, raided his bank account, and gave it all to the cult. She would do anything the cult said. As, you see, she had been suckered into the cult some years ago, befallen to a fate similar to Rufus's. She was just so glad to be back in a man's body after years of being stuck a woman.

Nick lurched as Karen tugged on the leash connecting the two. He had no idea how strong she would be now that she was in the body of a lioness, or how weak he would be now that he was in her body. Earlier the two had gone to the zoo where a grown man was acting like a child playing with a weird device. As they found out first hand, the device could swap the brains of two people...or apparently animals. After several swaps every which way into various animals and people, Nick ended up in his girlfriend Karen's body while she ended up in the body of a female lion. The man had run away, and Nick wasn't about to let his girlfriend get locked up overnight in a cage, so he snuck her out. The two have been in search of the man ever since. Karen's newly acute senses had picked up on his scent, and she began to pull Nick suddenly. He nearly fell over but hoped the madness would be over soon. That is, of course, if they could even find Nick's body!

Aaron sat frustrated in front of his computer. Why couldn't he remember his password for that website that turned him into a woman? It could modify your body in any way, and he had used it so many times to make himself taller or enhance the size of his junk if he had a big date coming up. So why the ONE time when he turns himself into a woman does he forget his password?

However, he soon discovered that as a woman there were plenty of other places that needed shaving -- though luckily not every day. Yet shaving his legs and armpits also took much more time. As he sat in the bathtub taking care of his beauty routine, he realized the trade off may not have been worth it. After all, now he not only had to put up with shaving, but he also had to contend with hair, makeup, and up-to-date fashions just to stay competitive and professional at work!

Mike realized pretty quickly that he probably shouldn’t be too upset with the body he ended up with as a result of the Great Shift. Sure, he was a woman now, but he was also young and hot. It seemed like a reasonable enough situation, especially considering some of the bodies his friends ended up in.

As the days and weeks passed, there only seemed to be one problem -- he kept gaining weight. Mike’s first guess was that he must’ve still been used to eating like a large guy instead of a small woman, so he tried to cut back. It was so tough; he just felt hungry all the time. And it also didn’t seem to help. He was sure he was now even developing a beer belly despite his caloric reduction.

So he started hitting the gym more, guessing the woman he swapped with had an intense fitness regiment. Yet even despite the intense workout, he was sure he was getting bigger.

It was on one gym trip as he mumbled under his breath about his weight gain and getting fat that another gym member commented.

“You aren’t getting fat,” She said, “You’re pregnant.”

Despite all the people freaking out in the wake of the Great Shift, Alan decided that he wouldn’t freak out even though he was in a new body. He simply went to find a quiet place and starting digging through his new body’s purse. It took him a long time before he finally found her wallet, but when he looked inside there was no identification. No driver’s license, no credit cards, just about $200 in cash. Next he starting looking for a cell phone. He was just curious about anything he could find that would tell him whose body he was now in or any information about her!

Reverse Zombie

The virus first starting infecting people around September. People would seemingly die and come back to life craving the flesh of other humans. Dr. Gustavo Diaz hated the term “zombie,” but that’s what everyone was calling the infected. Many had been working on a cure, but Gustavo was taking a different approach, he theorized a vaccine.

With an infected young woman on the table in his lab, he extracted her DNA and began the study it. She growled and snapped at him, but she was tied down tight. He was able to create a single dose of the vaccine, and he wondered who to test it on. However, his choices were quickly dwindled once he realized his lab was surrounded by infected people. There was only one person he could test it on: himself.

Nervously, he injected the needle in his arm. He began to wonder how he would know it would work? Then something strange happened as his body transformed. He looked eerily similar to the woman on his table -- well, like she did when she was alive. But being a woman was the last thing on his mind. Gustavo also had a craving for flesh, but he desired to eat the flesh of the infected. He couldn’t help himself as he bit into the woman at his table.

He was shocked at what he had done. He briefly thought he had turned himself into the same type of monster as the infected, but he still seemed to have his ability to speak and think. He had no cravings for the flesh of the living for sure. Then he looked out his lab window to see the infected desperate to get inside. He knew he was a different kind of monster entirely, and he was one that was ready to feast on the flesh of those zombies...

Jules tasted something funny about the hotel's water when he brushed his teeth on his first night stay there, but he didn't discover its true effect until the next morning when he took a shower. As the water cascaded down his body, it became to transform it. He went from his burly 6 foot tall hairy frame to a smooth skinned 5'4" female beauty. Being one of the most powerful attorneys in the land, he was ready to hit this hotel with a big lawsuit. The problem is that simply no one believed him.

Mitchell was mad. Seriously, what sort of mom steals their son's body! But that's exactly what his mother did to him, and now he was stuck in her body. He developed a scheme to try and trick her to swap back. He knew his mom was pretty vein about her appearance, so he dressed up in a latex dress. If she saw him, she'd be horrified. However, after putting on the outfit, he couldn't seem to find where his mom had gone, and the next thing he knew he heard a slam, and saw his dad walking in the front door. Mitchell knew that if his dad saw his mom's body dressed like this, it would definitely not give the right impression.

When the Great Shift swapped the bodies of most of the planet's inhabitants, Derek was in disbelief at his new body. He found himself in a leather-clad woman. He quickly convinced himself that he was dreaming, but it all felt so real. He told himself that all he needed to do was fall asleep in the dream, and then he'd wake up in his own body. Even though he finally managed to doze off, there would be no pleasant awakening when he realizes that his new body is no dream!

After Jake was abducted by aliens and poked and probed for days, he thought it couldn't get any worse. However, after the stuck a needle into his head, he blacked out. When he awoke, he was in a different part of the ship in a cage. On top of that, he was in someone else's body. Jake guessed it was an exotic dancer or somthing judging by the clothes. Next, an alien explained in broken english that in this body he would hae to "mate" and "produce offspring" for further study. Jake was wrong. The probing and the experiments had gotten much, much worse.

None of the constuction workers on the site believed the rumors that they were building over an ancient cursed burial ground. That is, until strange things started happening. Bill broke his legs on the job, Chuck went temporarily blind for no reason, but nothing could match what happened to the foreman, Eddie. He whistled at a woman one passing by the site one day, and the next the woman showed up at the site, ready for work. Most of the other workers jaws dropped when she opened her mouth and Eddie's voice came out, "Alright, curse or no curse, we're gettin' this job done."

Theodore’s wife was convinced he was cheating on her. She put a curse on his latest business trip which would only kick in if he was unfaithful. Most of the trip went well, until one night when he brought a showgirl and part-time prostitute back to his hotel room. The next morning he didn't even notice that he was in a completely different body wearing the showgirl's sexy stage costume as he grabbed his briefcase for the day's meeting. Oddly enough, he still scored a good deal at the meeting; however, the showgirl's performance while she was in Theodore's body didn't go over nearly as well.

A few years ago, Opie found that he had a very odd power. He could push his spirit out of his own body and into another person. This would push that soul out and a bit of body swapping often between several people would result. But his aim was terrible, and it would often take hours to get everyone back in their rightful body. As a result, he rarely used this power. In fact, he hadn’t even planned on using this power today. It sort of went off by pure accident. His neighbor Angela was babysitting, and he was just getting so frustrated from all the crying. Suddenly, his spirit shot out his body and through the wall into Angela’s body. He saw Angela’s spirit enter the baby, and the baby’s spirit whisked away through the wall. As Opie started feeling up his new body, he could see Angela looking up from the baby’s body with anger. And it dawned on Opie. This was the first time he had no real need to swap back. Angela in the baby’s body couldn’t speak yet, and his own body with the baby inside was also unable to talk. He could simply just stay as Angela, and that seemed like a good deal to him.

A Bad Day

One by one, the people sitting at the bar complained about how bad their day was. The woman at the end of the bar laughed as she pulled out a cigarette.

“You want to talk about a bad day. I’ve had the worst,” She said, “When I woke up this morning, I was a man.”

“I’m not exactly sure what happened,” She continued, “I think I probably pissed off an ex-girlfriend or something. She wanted her revenge, so as the day went on, I slowly morphed into a woman. Shipwreck

It was in the 90s when Jim made a ton of money off the dotcom bubble. It was easy for him to retire early and sail around the world on his yacht with his beautiful girlfriend. Unfortunately, while in the middle of the ocean, they hit a reef. Jim was sure he could fix it if they were on land; luckily, they spied an uncharted island in the distance. However, as they approached, things got weird. Quite unexpectantly, Jim and his girlfriend ended up swapping bodies. It was more than disorienting for Jim, and it inhibited his ability to repair the boat. His girlfriend’s body wasn’t strong enough to lift a lot of the materials, so he had to bark orders at her as she did the work.

A few days passed before they were able to fix the yacht up well enough to leave the island. After they got a safe enough distance off, they swapped back to their own bodies. Out of curiosity, Jim turned the boat back toward the island. When they got close enough, they swapped again. It seemed crazy, but there was only one possible conclusion, something about the island swapped people’s bodies. Jim thought about what he could do. He could build a one-of-a-kind resort. It might be hard to convince construction workers to build something here, but he was sure he could charge people a lot of money for a vacation where they literally spent time off as someone else. He jotted down the coordinates, eager to return to the place he and his girlfriend had called “Exchange Island.”

Like Ranma

Kaj was flabbergasted. He had no clue what could have possibly caused his sudden transformation into a woman. His friend Seymour suggested that it might be like in the Ranma cartoons, and he should pour some warm water on himself to turn back into a man. With a bit of assistance from his friend, Kaj was soon soaked in a splash of water, but it did little to help his predicament. He was still a woman, but now he was a woman in wet clothes. Seymour could not help but stare at Kaj’s form in the sopping wet outfit.

After the Great Shift, Martin never thought he’d get used to being a woman. Yet a mere week later, and he found himself in a department store gawking over dresses. In fact, he was even feeling downright giddy inside. Is this just something women felt about clothes shopping? He wondered, but he didn’t really care. He was sure he was going to buy out half of this store...or as much of it as he could afford! Maybe this body was a shopaholic or something, and that trait had been passed on to him now that he had this body.

Smoke

Jack was pretty thankful when he found a cigarette inside the purse he was carrying. After the Great Shift swapped his body with a woman, he felt very stressed and needed one to calm down. If she had been a non-smoker, he would’ve felt terrible about doing this; then again, if she didn’t smoke, he had no idea where he’d be able to get a cigarette from right now anyway. After his smoke, he was a little calmer, or at least calm as one could be after finding themselves in a different body.

Holiday Shopping

Alex was itching to figure out what his mom was going to surprise him with this Christmas. She always bought him some big gift not on his list, and it was always really impressive. He had always tried to figure out what it was in advance, but she was very good at keeping a secret. This year, he had a rather elaborate plan for finding out. Any time his mom said she was going out, he would go upstairs and log on to his computer. He loaded the odd program that he had found on the internet. After loading in a photo of one of his mom’s friends, he clicked on the “activate” button. In an instant, the program would turn his body into a spirit that would immediately fly across town to possess his mom’s friend. He was actually getting a little tired of hanging out with his mom -- getting coffee, going grocery shopping, and so on. However, today they were all going to the mall. He smiled, thinking this was the perfect opportunity for her to buy his gift. Of course, instead it seemed like a shopping trip for her. They bought women’s clothes and household items, nothing that seemed like a gift. Alex sighed as he tried to continue to pretend to enjoy himself.

Careless

Randal couldn’t believe he could be so careless! He knew the words “Have a nice day” would swap him with a passenger leaving the cab -- just as it swapped him into the driver’s body a few days ago -- but his sense of courtesy just kicked in as the pregnant woman stepped out of the vehicle. He was shocked as the cab drove away; he asked himself if he had said what he thought he did. Of course, considering he was now standing on the side of the road instead of sitting in the driver’s seat, the answer was obvious. He didn’t want to be this woman! He didn’t want to be a woman at all! He certainly had no desire to be pregnant! He started to feel anxious. Then he felt a dripping down his leg. At first he thought he had peed himself, but he had seen enough movies to know -- his water had just broken!

Workers' Comp

When the Great Shift hit the factory, it only caused minor chaos, as most workers just swapped with another co-worker, who was equally capable of doing the job. Rick, however, swapped with the boss’s daughter, a fancy woman from the City who was on break from college. He wasn’t sure if her body was capable of any of the heavy lifting that his job required, and he was sure she wasn’t dressed for doing it either. However, as soon as the boss caught Rick working, he was called into the office. He didn’t want his daughter’s body working on the floor; it was just too dangerous. In fact, Rick realized if he played this right, he could get the ultimate worker’s compensation. The boss would pay to keep his daughter’s body safe and Rick wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

Marc had seen the ads offering a lot of money to switch bodies with someone. Considering how much debt he was in, he started to seriously think about it until one day, he decided to go for it. Once he arrived at the center, it seemed all the bodies he could swap with were foreign females. He didn’t really question much about this, but instead kept his eye on the figure with a whole bunch of zeroes. He swallowed deeply, before picking the body he’d be stuck with for the rest of his life. He selected a cute, young Asian woman. Some of the other bodies paid much more, but they were often old. Soon he was lead to another room where he was hooked into a machine. It was turned on once Marc was settled in. An instant later, he found himself in a similar room thousands of miles far away. Sure enough, he had the body of the woman he had selected. He was paid the promised money and he was off on his way. He certainly felt rich...that is, until he was realized the money he was paid in amounted to only about one hundred dollars thanks to the exchange rate.

Airport

Kevin smiled as he texted Ellen from the airport. He had tricked her into swapping bodies with him using the Medallion of Zulu. She demanded they swap back immediately, but he knew the thing wouldn’t work again for twelve hours. That meant he had twelve hours to enact his plan. He headed straight to the airport. He went in the clothes he was wearing, and he didn’t pack a bag -- His own clothes would be no good and Ellen would’ve been way too suspicious if he had packed a bag of her clothes. It didn’t matter where he went, but he needed it to be far. He wanted to be sure Ellen couldn’t follow. Still, he didn’t want to be a total jerk. He told her that he left the medallion for her, and how she could use it to switch bodies with someone else. After sending the text, he threw the phone into the trash and boarded his plane. He was ready to start his new life. The fake ID had already fooled security, and the credit card he had set up with that same identity had successfully purchased a ticket. He was sure Ellen would never find him. It was going to be a good new life.

Difficult

Ryan thought that finding himself in a woman’s body in the wake of the Great Shift would motivate him to exercise more often. After all, he wanted his body to look good. But after a week solid, he learned an important lesson: jogging was really difficult! He had probably only been running for about five minutes and he was already exhausted. He took a quick stretch as he groaned, realizing at the very least, he’d have to run five more minutes back to his house. Maintaining a good body was hard work!

When a person wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror, it is expected that one’s own face would be looking back. However, Rick was in for the shock of his life when he woke up one morning to find a very different face staring back at him from the other side of the mirror. He checked behind himself at first, wondering if there was a person standing behind him, but there wasn’t. The gorgeous female looking back was him...somehow, he was her. His first thought was that the mirror must be malfunctioning, but mirrors don’t malfunction. A quick look down confirmed the unfamiliar reflection.

Conscious

It was painfully obvious to this Chris at this point that he had somehow screwed up the magic spell. Had he cast it properly, he would’ve swapped bodies with the store clerk. Instead, he messed up terribly and found himself trapped inside the body of one of the store’s mannequins up front. There was no way he could ever hope to reverse the spell -- he was completely frozen in place due to the fact that he was now stuck in an immobile plastic shell. What was weird was that he still seemed to have all his senses. He could still see out onto the street, where his former body now lay lifeless. He could still feel. He felt the satin glove on his hand; he also felt the cool air seeping in through the glass window of the store. It was a little too chilly for him, but there was little he could do to change the sleeveless pink dress he now wore. He could hear voices of people in the store, though he couldn’t turn around to see them. He began to wonder how he could do these things -- or even how he was able to think about any of this -- after all, he no longer had nerves or organs or even a brain in his head; he was now just a plastic mold, yet he was somehow still conscious.

When Isaac told his brother Josh that he had found a way to make money at the church car wash, Josh's ears perked up and he was quick to offer assistance. When Isaac showed him a worn medallion and a slutty looking dress, however, Josh looked at his brother as if he'd gone crazy. Two hours later, Josh was wearing that dress and washing cars. Sure, he was glad to be helping with the raising money for the church, but he was certainly NOT happy about the situation (specifically the body) it had put him in!

It was an odd meeting. Several months after the Great Shift had swapped Michelle into the body of a fat, middle-aged man, she ran into her old body for the first time. Her jaw dropped when she saw the man she had swapped with in her body. He was eating greasy fries like a pig, and he had gotten a b**b job! She felt so violated! She got up to yell at him, but the man just smiled and took a bite of a fry while saying, “What are you worrying about. It’s my body now, and I can do whatever I want to it! If you’re interested, I’ll show you my new tattoo.” Michelle cried.

Lil' Bently had been a producer and rapper famous for his low-pitched vocal style. But in the wake of the Great Shift, his rhymes no longer had the same impact coming out of his new body's mouth--his voice was just so high and squeaky now! Fortunately, he was still a master behind the mixing board and continued his career as one of the world's top producers.

A Breeze

All things considered, the Great Shift went pretty smoothly for Lawrence. He had been placed into the body of a rather attractive woman with a pixie haircut. He found his own body quite quickly and got his keys and other personal belongings from the person who had been swapped into it. Then, as luck would have it, the woman whose body he got found him! She was in the body of a heavyset black woman and offered Lawrence any and all of her clothes now that they would no longer fit her. It turned out that she only lived about a block away, so Lawrence grabbed as many of her clothes as he could and took them back to his place. He guessed a massive worldwide bodyswap could’ve been much more chaotic, but it was a breeze for him.

“Whoa, Dude, what the hell are you doing!?” Curt asked in shock as he pushed his friend, Dave, back, “I may be stuck in your wife’s body thanks to that weird science experiment, but it’s your buddy’s brain inside this body. I have no interest in kissing you, so don’t even think about it!”

“Sorry,” Dave sighed, “It’s easy to forget that you aren’t Sarah. I’m sorry for grabbing your waist when I saw you. It’s also tough having her at home in your body. She claims that I love her for her body and not her mind. Honestly, Curt, seeing you in her body makes me wonder if she’s right.”

Bill had been enjoying his time in a woman’s body at Exchange Island, but he was beginning to get ready to be back in his male body. Luckily, he only had a few days left. He was having cramps and feeling irritable, and he was worried this body’s period would soon be on his way. He tried to ignore these issues with a relaxing nap on the beach. But he woke up to a shock. He was no longer on Exchange Island! He was on a beach outside of a very large city, and he was still in the woman’s body! He was worried he would be stuck like this! He wasn’t sure how it had happened, but he knew this violated the clause of the contract he had signed to not leave the island before his scheduled departure!
