Complaints

Whenever Melanie walked into the coffee shop, no one working would want to deal with her. She was, quite frankly, a bitch. She would always shout that the order was never quite right. Today, Brad was the one making her drink, and he was preparing for the verbal assault that would soon follow.

Except instead of hearing her usual complaints, it was the screams of the entire shop that filled his ears. Everyone, it seemed, had swapped bodies. And of all the bodies he could have ended up in, Brad ended up in Melanie’s. He informed everyone that the shop would be closing for the day, and that only employees should stay behind.

As it turned out, the other staff had swapped bodies with people some distance away. Brad was now all alone in Melanie’s body. He might have to hear her annoying voice all the time now, but at least he could prevent it from complaining -- as he now had complete control over it.
