Technophobe

Alex realized how quickly he was becoming a technophobe. Technology was just moving too far, and criminals now seemed to be the early adopters. Take the whole body swapping tech. Heck, it was even banned in his country, but that didn’t stop it from being used in illegal, criminal ways. As he was walking down the street one day, a woman hit him with such a device. Suddenly, Alex was now the one in her body, and she threatened not to give him his body back unless he took out $1000 from his bank account. Alex grumbled as he headed to the nearest ATM and did as she requested. Being somewhat distracted by the feminine body he now had, he didn’t react quick enough when the woman with his body grabbed the card and cash faster than he could. She had been peeking as he entered his pin. The woman then ran away. He had his body, his ATM card, and his pin number. He was sure she was going to do a lot of damage before he could report anything to his bank or explain things to the police.

When Alan awoke, the first thing he noticed was the taste of lipstick on his lips. At first he wondered how much he had drunk the night before and who he had ended up making out with. However, he soon realized he hadn’t kissed anyone the night before; it was he who was wearing the lipstick for some reason. And as some long hair fell onto his shoulders as he sat up, the full horror of what had happened to him began to sink in; he had swapped bodies with his own mother! Instead of being a 25 year old guy, he was now a 45 year old woman! He had to consider that maybe she was responsible. She had dropped out of college and married his father after she became pregnant with him. It had been a tough life of scrimping and saving until he finally went away to college. Alan had become successful almost immediately. Sure, he didn’t call his mom enough, but he always sent her plenty of cash. Plus, she loved him. She couldn’t possibly do this to him; she couldn’t possibly be jealous enough to steal his life from him, right?

Nick was starting to think that using that magic spell to steal Shelby’s body was probably one of the best ideas he ever had. He had originally done it in an attempt to instill some confidence in her. He had always told her that she had a great body; she just seemed too afraid to show it off. But a strange thing happened to Nick as he paraded around in Shelby’s body while wearing skimpy clothes -- he started to enjoy it! The next thing he knew, he was no longer interested in boosting Shelby’s confidence. Instead, he was on the beach showing off her body. He could feel guy’s stares burning into him as they gawked with awe. He was enjoying the attention. He was originally planning to swap back with Shelby that night, but now he planned to keep her body for himself just a little while longer...

Kevin was scared when Margot tricked him into entering a small tiled area then trapped him by closing a glass door on his face. He pressed his hands up against it, hoping to get out, but soon she hit a switch. He felt changes coming over him. He looked over at Margot to see changes were happened to her as well--she was turning into him! That must mean that he was turning into her! He looked down to confirm his fear. He had her body and her soft skin; he was even wearing her clothes! The same grey top and purple jacket! This was too weird! He screamed to be let out, but she just laughed at him, leaving him stuck... in more ways than one!

Perfect Man

“Wait, wait, wait, don’t go, Kelly. Let me explain. I know I look like some strange woman, but it’s actually me, your husband, Ted. I didn’t want to freak out the kids at home, but I knew you’d be here tonight. I knew you wouldn’t miss this. I swapped with this woman a week ago. I don’t know how. I passed a few days just thinking it was a dream or that I’d wake up the next day in my own body. I need you to believe me, Kelly.” An exasperated Ted explained.

“Are you crazy? Body swapping? You expect me to believe that you are my husband? Wouldn’t he have told me? Or rather, if there is a woman inside his body? I’ve certainly heard zero the past week. In fact, he’s been a saint, picking up the girls at soccer practice, taking me out to dinner twice...” Kelly paused thinking about this. Her husband was never so selfless. Maybe this woman was right, maybe she had swapped bodies with her husband. Then again, the woman now in her husband’s body seemed like the perfect man, better than her husband ever was. Did she even want them to entertain the idea of helping them swap back?

Trying

Ryan had stolen Julia’s body just a few hours ago. But if he was going to successfully steal her life and convince anyone that he was really her, he’d have to learn to walk in high heeled shoes. Julia rarely wore anything else. Ryan was trying really hard to get used to them, but so far was having no luck. He had to prop himself up just to keep from falling down. This was not going to be easy, but he was sure that after a few more tries he could get it right.

Pain

Barry awoke in the morning with an intense pain in his stomach. He could barely focus on anything else, and the fact that he was now in a different person’s body was barely even a secondary concern. In fact, he hadn’t even noticed he was now a woman for quite some time. He was more focused on the uncontrollable pain emitting from the center of his being. He tried calming it with all sorts of over the counter medicines he found in the bathroom, but nothing seemed to quell it in the slightest. It was an after effect of the swapping, as it turned out, but this is something he would never be the wiser of. And it was a feature, not a bug, as Zoe would be far away by the time he was able to focus on his new body instead of the pain. It would mean her plan was perfect.

After many decades working at the station as head anchor, Chip Winks was being forced into retirement. He wasn’t going out without a fight, and his plan to keep his job was quite devilish--downright black magic, in fact. He had a spell to swap bodies with his co-anchor and successor, Kimberly Lee, He decided to cast it during what would have otherwise been his final commercial break, right before Kimberly was scheduled to give Chip a fond farewell speech. It was now Chip giving that speech in Kim’s body. The cameras panned away from the horrified look on Chip’s face, which had Kim’s soul inside now.

Going Native

It was quite amazing that the remote tropical paradise had gone undiscovered for so long. Only in the last decade or so had the small island opened up to tourism and commerce; the natives were quite unhappy about it. They often captured tourists and performed rituals on them. Bruno had been vacationing resting at night on the beach when the islanders swooped him up. He awoke at sunrise tied to a post. There appeared to be a young native woman tied up facing him a few feet away. As the sun lifted in the sky, he noticed her body change. She became taller and more masculine. She started to look a lot like him, in fact. At the same time, Bruno shrunk, slowly turning into her! Bruno cursed. No one would believe who he really was! He wouldn’t be able to use his passport to get back home. He’d be stuck here forever, and that was exactly the natives plan..

Lauren felt dizzy after getting off the amusement park ride. Something about it was much more intense than usual. As the dizziness settled down, she flipped out once she realized she was now in the body of some random guy! She desperately began to search the park for her former body; she finally found it as night fell. It was sitting on a bench holding an odd device.

“Give me back my body!” Lauren demanded.

“I’m afraid that’s impossible,” The man now in her body replied, “Our swap was a test -- a successful test! But I have placed pieces in the park, which will trigger a massive swapping event for everyone in the park. Well, everyone over there on that side of the park. I’ve quite taken to your body and I don’t plan on giving it up. But I think if you rush over there, you might be lucky enough to get a better body than my former balding, middle aged one.”

“Why the hell would you do this?” Lauren cried.

“It’s an amusement park, is it not? This is how I amuse myself. Now, you’d better hurry. I really think you’ll want to take your chances amongst the chaos that’s about to happen...”"

Desolate

Earl had been driving on the desolate road for miles without seeing another building or person when he saw her. He thought about stopping, but he knew picking up a hitchhiker was a bad idea. In hindsight, he wished he had stopped. As he continued to drive, an odd feeling came over him. Suddenly, he was now standing on the side of the road, watching his old truck drive off far into the distance. He looked down, recognizing the body as the woman he had just seen trying to hitchhike. Now he was the one standing on the side of the road, waiting for the next car to come around -- which he guessed would likely be quite a long time. In the interim, he was stuck out here with a very unfamiliar body!

Brent had hoped that last night was all a bad dream, but when he woke up he realized he wasn’t. All of his fraternity brothers had their bodies stolen by the members of a sorority last night at a wild party, and that meant that he too was stuck in a body of one of the sisters. Normally, he’d be psyched to wake up with tons of hot women surrounding him, but he didn’t want to be one of them! He felt weird wearing her skimpy nightgown, having breasts hanging from his chest, and who the hell wears heels to bed? Brent didn’t have too long to focus on the changes as his frat brother’s were looking to him for a scheme to get their bodies back.

Overprotective Mother

When I proposed to my girlfriend, her mother seemed mad. She told me I wasn’t good enough for her daughter and that she’d personally see to it that we would never be married. My girlfriend told me to not take it too seriously; these were just the types of things her mother said. Though the constant threats continued throughout our engagement. I tried to follow my fiancée’s advice and shrug it off, but it was difficult to do so.

Other than her mother’s belittling of me, things were going well, but I never could’ve expected what would happen next. I woke up on the morning of my wedding with the shock of my life -- I had woken up in body of my fiancée’s mother! I was in the body of a 50-something year old chinese woman! I tried not to panic. I put on her dress, which was more difficult and uncomfortable than I imagined, and made my way to the ceremony. I tried to think of what I could say to my bride-to-be to convince her of the truth. That would make her think I was really me and not her mom trying to up with a wild excuse to call of the wedding or just seeming absolutely crazy. When I realized I couldn’t, I just remained silent. Maybe we’d swap back later and this nightmare will be over. However, this seemed much less likely after later in the ceremony when my former body pulled me aside and told me, “I told you that you would never marry her. I will look after my daughter forever, no matter what it takes. Even if that means I am now you for good.”

Triggered

Harold couldn't believe what he was about to do. It had been a year since that crazy woman stole his body, and he had been stuck in hers. Now he had finally hunted her down and had his own body in the sights of a gun. If he pulled the trigger, there'd be no chance of ever being himself again, but he knew that it was unlikely that the woman would swap back with him anyway.

Border Crossing

Luis had saved up money by doing dangerous odd jobs for criminals and had some relatives abroad send him some cash. He needed the money to pay someone who offered to help smuggle him across the border. He was afraid to hand it over to the large, surly man. The man simply looked at it before leading Luis into a moldy basement with a machine attached to a rickety chair. An older man sat by the chair near a control panel. The older man strapped Luis in and explained they now just needed to wait for someone to sit in the other chair situated a few miles north of the border. Once someone did, he would hit a switch and swap Luis’s brain into that body. Not only would Luis be across the border, but he’d also be in the body of a citizen and unable to be deported.

Luis had a lot of questions. Why would anyone up there voluntarily sit in a chair that would stick them in his body? The old man explained the chair was disguised well; the person wouldn’t even know they were sitting in such a chair until it was too late. Just as Luis began to doubt stealing someone else’s body and damning them to his own poor, difficult life, a light on the old man’s console started flashing.

The next thing Luis knew, he noticed the smell of flowers instead of mold. The sun was shining on him instead of a dim bulb. And to top it all off, he was in the body of a woman! The other side of the machine had been disguised as a hair dryer in a beauty salon. It certainly made sense, but it was still difficult for Luis to gather himself. He had made it across the border safely; he’d certainly never be detected in this body, but it was the body of a woman!

In the Flesh

It had been thirty years since Buddy had walked into the old mansion. His body had been instantly possessed by a ghost. This forced his own soul out of his body, and he had been living, trapped in the mansion, as a spirit since then, waiting for another to enter, so that he could steal there body. It was now time, three decades later when a woman entered. Buddy didn’t want to be female, but he was sick of being stuck in this mansion, trapped as a ghost. He  swirled his form around her and began the process of taking her body. Son he was in control, and her soul was pushed out. He left the mansion, happy to be in the flesh again.

He had been drugged, kidnapped, swapped into a woman’s body, and dumped outside of a restaurant. He now sat outside with no money or ID in his pockets and no idea what to do!
